This too shall pass.

Baby, you make my "love molecule" soar!
ROME (Reuters) - Your heartbeat accelerates, you have butterflies in the stomach, you feel euphoric and a bit silly. It's all part of falling passionately in love -- and scientists now tell us the feeling won't last more than a year.
The powerful emotions that bowl over new lovers are triggered by a molecule known as nerve growth factor (NGF), according to Pavia University researchers.

See I knew there was not anything wrong with me. Now I have a medical excuse why a relationship doesn't last more than a year. I know what your thinking, what about the 5 years you spent with her, or the 20+ years your parents have been married? Those are endurance tests, like an ironman challenge, we were not meant to do it on a regular basis, but occasionly we will push ourselves as far as we can humanly go. Five years? It felt like more.

  • I have to say it does seem unnatural to be with someone for so long. What do I know. Companionship is nice...or is it. I'm confused.
